After what has felt like the longest winter on record, rugby league is back. And it’s back with a bang!
The lads put in an incredible effort at Leeds in a game many tipped them to lose by 50 or more. New recruit Cade Cust opening the scoring with a try on his debut.
Sunday brings our first home fixture against a Castleford Tigers side who showed their strength against last season’s champions Wigan. Let’s not forget that Sunday will also be an opportunity to reflect and honour those we’ve lost during the close-season.
Sub-Committees
Following on from the announcement of the intention to create sub-committees, we were delighted to have such a huge response and start work on amazing ideas. We’d love to hear from more of you to gather your views and insights, either one-to-one or as part of a larger meeting. We will be looking to release an update on sub-committees and other forums soon.
One new initiative, as part of Fandom has been the creation of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) ticketing scheme. This groundbreaking program is testament to our dedication to the well-being of our communities; allowing businesses to play an active role in supporting young and disadvantaged individuals, this will create opportunities for a significant number of people here in Salford.
I’m pleased to announce that this has led to us being shortlisted for The Ticketing Business Awards 2024 in the category of Impact Award. This will see us go up against the likes of Coldplay and the Summer Olympics at Ticketing Business Form 2024, held at Emirates Old Trafford on 16th April 2024.

A brand new CBS website will be launched soon which will contain all relevant information including members, AGM, elections and fundraising.
Membership Forms
We’re now pretty close to having all membership forms completed; if you’re yet to send yours through you can do so by clicking here or the button below.
Pin Badges
Pin badges are in stock and can be collected from the Salford Community Stadium Monday – Friday 10.00 – 16.00 or at any Owners’ events.
Share Certificates
These have now all been generated based on the information in the completed forms. If you have yet to receive yours and you have submitted your form please let me know at owners@salfordreddevils.net
