Candidates nominated for election
The following candidates have been nominated for election to the Salford RD Holdings Limited board of directors.
Members may vote for up to seven candidates.
As there are fewer candidates than vacancies, all duly nominated candidates will be elected, subject to an affirmative vote by members. All members will receive an email inviting them to vote.
The Society rules require that board members are elected for a period of three years. As this is the first election to our Society board then the order for ‘retirement’ of each board member is to be determined by the number of votes they receive in this election.
As detailed in the call for nominations the three candidates receiving the most votes and finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the voting will be elected to the board for a period of three years, standing down from the board at the 2027 AGM. Those candidates finishing 4th, 5th and 6th in the voting will be elected to the board for a period of two years, standing down from the board at the 2026 AGM. The candidate finishing 7th in the voting will be elected to the board for a period of twelve months, standing down from the board at the 2025 AGM. The Society rules provide for up to nine candidates and a further election may be held at the 2025 AGM.
Voting opens on Wednesday, 17th April 2024, and will remain open until 23:59 on Friday, 10th May 2024. The results of the voting in the election will be confirmed at the society AGM on Thursday, 23rd May 2024.
